How to find meaning and build your life on a fundamental idea

Posted on .

When you wake up – do you have a direction? Do you have an idea about what your day is going to be like? Do you have a strong drive when you wake up?

What the books of wisdom say:

It is important for us to build our lives on a fundamental idea. An idea that makes you jump out of bed with full energy to take on the tasks related to this idea. This idea will be like a kernel in your life. A center point.

From this center point, this one main idea, several projects will be able to form around it. Even if you have your head full of ideas and plans, this center point must only be one idea. Then life will truly take on meaning and coherence and you will be able to build something solid from this central idea.

Very few people have a fundamental idea, when they wake up, that will guide their actions and their behavior throughout the day. As soon as they wake up, their mind is off in all directions, and even if they are good at doing their job well, they remain in a dispersed state.

Are you like this?

If yes then this is very harmful to your physical and psychological balance.

If you choose to base your life on a single idea and you will notice that forces that you are not aware of but only exists inside of you, in every cell of your body, will awaken and join you in your efforts.

Find your purpose, a fundamental idea, a center point and you feel guided and supported in all your activities.

How I remind myself of my goals and purpose:

Every morning when I wake up, I ask myself – why? Why am I here? Why do I need to reach my goals? I keep asking myself “why” for the same question or purpose until there is no answer to that “why”. Then I find a purpose and build my day and energy around that “why”. I do this every morning to keep following my inner compass. At the days I cannot find energy enough to ask or think about my “why’s” I will just lie on the couch and feel lost. So having strong enough “why’s” in my days is very important for me to keep moving forward and towards my goals.

If you have a purpose in your life, how did you find it? Please leave a comment.
